Border 2 : Sunny Deol returns in a significant role during the 1971 Indo-Pak war in Border 2, the much awaited follow-up to the 1997 nationalistic war classic. This Hindi-language epic, directed by Anurag Singh, is scheduled for theatrical premiere on January 23, 2026, over Republic Day weekend. It promises strong action, emotional depth, and patriotism.

The movie features a formidable cast. In the starring role of the battle-hardened soldier, Sunny Deol recreates his famous intensity with a billboard image of him brandishing a bazooka. Alongside Ahan Shetty, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh play young Indian warriors. Sonam Bajwa, Medha Rana (making her debut opposite Varun), Mona Singh, and Anya Singh are the female stars.
