Amazing Achievement: Pragyan Rover Captures Vikram Lander on the Moon
Introduction
Pragyan Rover
India has nailed one more achievement in its crushing Chandrayaan-3 moon mission. A day after the memorable score, its Pragyan Rover was carried out of the lander and onto the lunar surface. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) declared the effective sending of Pragyan, a Sanskrit word for shrewdness, in a post on X, previously known as Twitter.

ISRO Shared the photograph with the subtitle ‘Smile Please’ on the ‘X.’ The new picture has been called the ‘Image of the mission’ by the organization.
Who designed the camera?
NavCams for the Chandrayaan-3 Mission are created by the Research Facility for Electro-Optics Frameworks (LEOS), ISRO said. As per its site, the office manages the plan, advancement, and creation of Demeanor Sensors for all LEO, GEO, and interplanetary missions; and creates and conveys Optical Frameworks for remote detecting and meteorological payloads.

The Navcam used to catch the pictures was created by the Research Center for Electro-Optics Frameworks (LEOS).
Isro on Tuesday Evening declared that the payload or instruments aboard the Pragyan Rover of the Chandrayaan-3 mission has affirmed the presence of sulphur and other compound components, true to form, on the lunar surface close to the south pole, and that the quest for hydrogen is in progress.
Alongside declaring the presence of sulphur, ISRO on Sunday shared the main Observations from the ChaSTE payload that is locally available Vikram Lander.
ChaSTE (Chandra’s Surface Thermophysical Experiment) gauges the temperature profile of the lunar topsoil around the pole, to understand the warm way of behaving of the moon’s surface. The space organization shared a chart representing the temperature varieties of the lunar surface/close surface at different profundities, as recorded during the test’s penetration.
“The rover has two payloads, an X-ray spectrograph and a laser-induced spectrograph,” Nilesh Desai (Director, Space Applications Centre, ISRO ) told ANI. According to preliminary data, the sulfur spectral line is visible at the south pole. Sulfur is Clearly visible at the south pole.”
Chandrayaan-3 discovers oxygen!
ISRO on Tuesday said that the Pragyan Rover has confirmed the presence of Sulphur on the lunar surface. ISRO said that the Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) instrument onboard the Pragyan Rover unambiguously confirms the presence of Sulphur (S) on the lunar surface near the south pole. “Chandrayaan-3 Mission: In-situ scientific experiments continue. The laser-induced Breakdown Spectroscope (LIBS) instrument onboard the Rover unambiguously confirms the presence of Sulphur (S) in the lunar surface near the south pole through first-ever in-situ measurements,” ISRO said, adding that search for hydrogen is underway.
