Chandrayaan-3 Live Updates: Ahead of the historic landing scheduled for tomorrow at 6.04 pm, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) announced on Monday that they will organize a live telecast of the landing process, which will begin at 5.20 pm on the same day. The link for the live streaming has also been shared and is available on ISRO‘s official website.

As per the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Chandrayaan-3’s Lander Module laid out correspondence with the orbiter of the, by and large, working Chandrayaan-2 orbiter Orbit circling the Moon as it begins the critical “sensitive showing up” on the lunar surface. The last variant of India’s lunar mission, Chandrayaan-2, was sent off in 2019 and incorporated a lander that lost contact in the wake of making fruitful orbital developments to the Moon.

A two-way communication was laid out between Chandrayaan-3’s Lander Module and Chandrayaan-2’s Orbiter (the second release of India’s Moon mission sent off in 2019) on Monday, as per ISRO. “‘Welcome, pal!’ Ch-2 orbiter officially invited Ch-3 LM. Two-way communication between the two is laid out. MOX has now more courses to arrive at the LM,” ISRO Wrote on X(Twitter).

"We have worked a lot on every aspect": Former ISRO scientist discusses Chandrayaan-2 mishap and enhanced preparations for Chandrayaan-3

Manish Purohit, a Former ISRO scientist said, “When we went through the Chandrayaan-2 data, we found out that there were few points missed- we went a bit wrong on the algorithm side, our thrusters were not corrected in the right time, landers orientation was not properly maintained & all this resulted in the big mishap that happened in Chandrayaan-2. However, we have worked a lot on every aspect of it.”

“When we were designing the lander for Chandrayaan-2, that time our approach was that we were expecting success in every phase and every step of the process, but this time what we assumed in the beginning process is, if something goes wrong, how we are going to come back. So the last 17-18 minutes of that particular part when we are going to descend on the lunar surface, there, slight changes have been made, We have improvised a system for the thruster control because the thrust last time was a bit off than expected. So all these things have been done.”

Chandrayaan-3 LIVE: ‘Very confident’ that mission will be successful, says Director General of Indian Space Association

“By Tomorrow around 6 ‘O Clock, there will be a soft landing attempted on the Moon…India has tried a soft landing there, that is Chandrayaan-2, that mission was successful other than the landing, where we lost Vikram at the last moment…This time all precautions have been taken by ISRO and all lessons have been learnt from the last crash of Vikram. I am very confident that this mission is going to land successfully by 6 PM tomorrow,” said Lt Gen (retd) Anil Kumar Bhatt, Director General of Indian Space Association on the scheduled landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Moon’s surface tomorrow.
