As the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal in shooting, Manu Bhaker made history. She won a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol competition at the Paris Olympics. She was ahead by 0.1 points going into the last stroke, but she almost lost out on silver, settling for bronze. This accomplishment represents Manu Bhaker’s first Olympic medal following his recovery from a pistol malfunction at the Tokyo Olympics, as well as India’s first medal at the Paris Olympics.
