The Incredible History: Built by a British Officer

During the British rule, an officer named Lieutenant Colonel Martin was fighting a war in Afghanistan in 1879. He was in great danger and wrote to his wife about his struggles.

His wife prayed to Lord Shiva at this very spot in Agar. Miraculously, Colonel Martin returned safely! He believed that Lord Shiva saved his life.
