Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India is the site of the construction of the Ram Mandir, a Hindu shrine. Situated on the location of Ram Janmabhoomi, a significant Hindu deity, Rama is said to have been born there. The Babri Masjid used to be located on this spot.

For the ceremonies, soil from over 2000 pilgrimage sites and water from over 100 rivers were brought in.
