Not only is the magnificent book entirely covered in gold, but gold ink was also employed to write the tale. In addition, the book is embellished with 10,000 diamonds, 10,000 kilograms of silver, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires, all of which have a market worth in the crore range.

Only once a year, at the VHP rally on Ram Navami, is the priceless book available for public sight before being returned to the bank. Known as the Swarna Ramayana, its main page features an idol of Lord Hanuman weighing 5.8 kilos of gold and an idol of Lord Shiva weighing 11.6 grams.

Twelve individuals took nine months and nine hours to finish the 530-page book, which was written by Ram Bhai Bhakta in 1981. In this Ramayana, the name of Lord Ram is mentioned fifty million times in the text. Rambhai Bhakta’s relative Gunwant Bhai told reporters that the papers were ordered from Germany.
