History of 11-Day Visarjan
The culmination of Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations is the 11-day Visarjan, or Anant Chaturdashi. This is the version of the event that is most popular and extensively observed, especially in Maharashtra. It is thought that Ganesha bestows more blessings on his followers the longer he remains.
